Apple adressed multiple [1] [2] code execution and cross site scripting vulnerabilities reported in Safari.
Mozilla fixed a critical memory corruption issue identified in Firefox, Seamonkey and Thunderbird.
CA addressed a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting the DSM "gui_cm_ctrls" ActiveX control bundled with various produtcs.

Security Updates Available for Mozilla Products
Mozilla Firefox version 2.0.0.13 and SeaMonkey version 1.1.9 were released to address various spoofing, cross site scripting and code execution vulnerabilities.
Mozilla Thunderbird version 2.0.0.13 will be available shortly.
Users are urged to upgrade to the latest versions.

Microsoft Patched Twelve Vulnerabilities
Microsoft published four security advisories and addressed twelve critical code execution vulnerabilities affecting Office, Excel, Outlook and Office Web Components.
The zero-day vulnerability which is currently being exploited in the wild has also been fixed fixed.
