A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by local attackers to gain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error in the Ancillary Function driver (afd.sys) that does not validate user-supplied input when passing data from user mode to the kernel, which could allow malicious users to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
