A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an integer overflow error in the Microsoft Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) service implemented as an ISAPI extension for IIS, which could allow authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to a vulnerable system running IIS with IPP and cause the server to connect to a malicious machine acting as a printer and sending specially crafted responses.
