A vulnerability has been identified in Apache Tomcat, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error when checking IP addresses, which could allow a user from a non-premitted IP address to gain access to a context that is protected with a valve that extends "RemoteFilterValve" including the standard "RemoteAddrValve" and "RemoteHostValve" implementations.
