A vulnerability has been identified in FreeBSD, which could be exploited by malicious users to gain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error when a General Protection Fault occurs while the kernel is returning from an interrupt, trap or system call while manipulating stack frames, which could allow local attackers to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
