A vulnerability has been identified in ClamAV, which could be exploited by attackers or malware to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an invalid memory access in the "libclamav/chmunpack.c" when processing a malformed CHM file, which could be exploited to create a denial of service condition.

Other out-of-memory conditions, memory consumption and file descriptor leaks have been reported.
