A vulnerability has been identified in Novell iPrint Client, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error within the "IppCreateServerRef()" function in "nipplib.dll" when processing an overly long and specially crafted argument passed to certain methods provided by the Novell iPrint ActiveX control (ienipp.ocx), which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.
