A vulnerability has been identified in Zope, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when processing PythonScripts containing "raise SystemExit" or certain "encode()" and "decode()" calls, which could allow attackers with unrestricted access to the ZMI and the ability to edit PythonScripts to shutdown a complete Zope 2 instance or cause it to hang, creating a denial of service condition.
