Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

The first issue is caused by an error in the Event System service tha does not correctly validate user subscriptions requests when created, which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.

The second vulnerability is caused by an error in the Event System service tha does not correctly validate the range of indexes when calling an array of function pointers, which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
