A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a heap overflow error in the Microsoft Color Management System (MSCMS) module of the Microsoft Image Color Management (ICM) component when processing malformed images, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted image file or visiting a malicious web page.
