A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris and OpenSolaris, which could be exploited by attackers or malicious users to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an unspecified error related to the "sendfilev()" system call, which could allow a user who has the ability to create pages that are hosted on a Solaris 10 system using Apache 2.2.x, to cause a system panic and create a denial of service condition.
