Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Pidgin, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused by integer overflow errors in the "msn_slplink_process_msg" functions in the MSN protocol handler in "libpurple/protocols/msn/slplink.c" and "libpurple/protocols/msnp9/slplink.c" when processing malformed SLP messages, which could be exploited by malicious users in the buddy list to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code.
