A vulnerability has been identified in Squid, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the ASN1 parser within the SNMP library that does not validate certain fields in SNMP queries, which could allow remote attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash an restart, creating a denial of service condition.
