A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris and OpenSolaris, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an unspecified error in the e1000g Gigabit Ethernet driver on systems with Intel 82571/82572 network interface controllers, which may allow a remote unprivileged user to block all inbound network packets, leading to a denial of service condition.
