A vulnerability has been identified in various Citect products, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the ODBC Server component when processing malformed requests sent to port 20222/TCP, which could exploited by attackers to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code via specially crafted packets.
