A weakness has been identified in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which could be exploited by local attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is caused due to the browser not properly handling the "DisableCachingOfSSLPages" option when set via the registry to prevent the caching of SSL-enabled web pages, which could cause pivate or sensitive data to be written to disk inadvertently.
