A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Java System Directory Server, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused due to the server incorrectly classifying a connection based on the "bind-dn" criteria, resulting in an incorrect policy being applied, which could allow a remote unprivileged user to gain unauthorized administrative access to a vulnerable server.
