Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in KDE, which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service or gain elevated privileges. These issues are caused by input validation errors in the setuid root "start_kdeinit" wrapper when processing user-supplied data, which could be exploited by malicious users to send signals to arbitrary processes, cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
