A vulnerability has been identified in CA Secure Content Manager (eTrust Secure Content Manager), which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the eTrust Common Services (Transport) Daemon (eCSqdmn) when processing specially crafted packets sent to port 1882/TCP, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash, restart, or exhaust all available memory resources, creating a denial of service condition.
