A vulnerability has been identified in CA ARCserve Backup, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the Discovery service (casdscvc) when processing specially crafted packets sent to port 41523/TCP, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash or restart, creating a denial of service condition.
