A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Java Server Faces, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting attacks. This issue is caused by errors in the input handling routines when processing user-supplied data, which may allow a local or remote unprivileged user to elevate privileges and execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user running the JSF based web application.
