A vulnerability has been identified in Gentoo, which could be exploited by local attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error in the vobcopy tool that appends data to the "/tmp/vobcopy.bla" file in an insecure manner, which cold be exploited by malicious users to conduct symlink attacks and append data to arbitrary files with the privileges of the user running the application.
