A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris, which could be exploited by local attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is caused by an unspecified error in the DTrace dynamic tracing framework, which may allow a local user or a non-global zone which has been granted either the PRIV_DTRACE_USER or the PRIV_DTRACE_PROC privilege to be able to perform some kernel-level tracing and gain access to sensitive information.
