Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Works, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by memory corruption errors in the Works File Converter when processing section length headers, header index table information, or field length information in ".wps" files, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted file.
