A vulnerability has been identified in Check Point VPN-1 SecuRemote and SecureClient, which could be exploited by local attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is caused by a design error in the Auto Local Logon feature that stores user credentials insecurely in the "HKLM\Software\Checkpoint\SecuRemote\Credentials" registry key, which could be exploited by malicious users to gain unauthorized access to the credentials to authenticate to the VPN as the target user.
