Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MPlayer, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise an affected system.
The first issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the "url_escape_string()" [stream/url.c] function when processing malformed URLs, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code [...]
