Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MPlayer, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise an affected system.
The first issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the "url_escape_string()" [stream/url.c] function when processing malformed URLs, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code.
The second vulnerability is caused by an array indexing error in the "mov_build_index()" [libmpdemux/demux_mov.c] function when parsing MOV file headers, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted file.
The third issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the "get_flac_metadata()" [libmpdemux/demux_audio.c] function when parsing FLAC file comments, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted file.
