Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Visual Basic, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors when processing a DSR with an overly long "ConnectionName" or "CommandName" value, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted ".dsr" file and then clicking on the "ConnectionName" or "CommandName" field in the View Object window.
