A vulnerability has been identified in Debian, which could be exploited by local attackers to potentially obtain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error in the Apt-listchanges utility that uses unsafe paths when importing python libraries, which could be exploited by malicious users to execute arbitrary code by tricking the root user into running the affected tool in a directory containing a specially crafted library file.
