A vulnerability has been identified in Libxml2, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by infinite loop errors in the "xmlCurrentChar()" [parserInternals.c] function when parsing certain UTF-8 sequences, which could be exploited to create a denial of service condition via specially crafted XML data.
