A vulnerability has been identified in MaxDB, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by an input validation error when processing user-supplied commands (e.g. "exec_sdbinfo") via a "system()" call, which could be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands by sending a malicious request to port 7210/TCP.
