Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Apache, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting or denial of service attacks.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the "mod_proxy_balancer" module when processing and displaying data, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second vulnerability is caused by an error in the "mod_proxy_balancer" module when handling specially crafted requests while using a threaded Multi-Processing Module, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected child process, creating a denial of service condition.
