Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Flash, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions, disclose sensitive information, execute arbitrary scripting code or take complete control of an affected system.

The first issue is caused by input validation errors when processing specially crafted content, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code.

The second vulnerability is caused by an error in PCRE. or additional information, see : FrSIRT/ADV-2007-3725

The third issue is caused by an error when handling "allow-access-from" elements in a cross-domain-policy XML document, which could be exploited to conduct DNS rebinding attacks.

The fourth vulnerability is caused by an error when interpreting cross-domain policy files, which could be exploited to conduct privilege escalation attacks against web servers hosting Flash content and cross-domain policy files.

The fifth issue is caused by an error within the handling of the "asfunction:" protocol, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting attacks.

The sixth vulnerability is caused by an error in the Flash Player ActiveX Control for Internet Explorer when handling calls to the "navigateToURL" function, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting attacks.

The seventh issue is caused by an error when handling HTTP headers of client requests, which could be exploited to conduct HTTP request splitting attacks.

The eighth vulnerability is caused by a design error in ActionScript 3 socket handling, which could be exploited to scan arbitrary ports.

The ninth issue is caused by a memory permissions error in the Linux Flash Player, which could allow malicious users to gain elevated privileges.

The tenth vulnerability is caused by an unspecified error in the Flash Player for Opera and Mac. For additional information, see : FrSIRT/ADV-2007-3529
