A vulnerability has been identified in Ruby-GNOME2, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by a format string error in the "mdiag_initialize()" [gtk/src/rbgtkmessagedialog.c] when passing the "message" variable to "gtk_message_dialog_new()", which could be exploited by attackes to crash an affected application or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
