A vulnerability has been identified in Gentoo, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in Pioneers (formerly gnocatan) that may free sessions objects while they are still in use, resulting in access to invalid memory zones, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected server via a specially crafted request.
