Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in PHP, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions, cause a denial of service or potentially compromise a vulnerable web server.

The first issue is caused by errors in the "dl()" function when processing user-supplied arguments, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions.

The second vulnerability is caused by errors in the "htmlentities" and "htmlspecialchars" functions when processing partial multibyte sequences, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions.

The third issue is caused by buffer overflow errors in the glibc implementations of the "fnmatch()", "setlocale()" and "glob()" functions, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code.

The fourth vulnerability is caused by an error when handling ".htaccess" files, which could be exploited by attackers to modify the "mail.force_extra_parameters" php.ini directive and bypass security restrictions.

The fifth issue is caused by an unspecified error related to automatic session id insertion.

The sixth vulnerability is caused by an error when handling "ini_set()" functions, which could be exploited to overwrite certain values set in "httpd.conf".

The seventh issue is caused by errors in PCRE. For additional information, see : FrSIRT/ADV-2007-3725
