A vulnerability has been identified in Debian, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error in Gforge that handles temporary files in an insecure manner, which could allow malicious users to truncate arbitrary files with the privileges of the user invoking the vulnerable application, potentially leading toa denial of service condition.
