A vulnerability has been identified in IPSwitch IMail Server, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the IMail Client when processing emails containing multipart MIME data with an overly long "boundary" parameter (more than 212 bytes), which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or potentially execute arbitrary code.
