Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Client, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. These issues are caused by input validation errors in the CAD service (port 1581/TCP) that does not validate user-supplied requests before being inserted into the "dsmerror.log" file and displayed via the "FILE" functionality, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected web site.
