Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Opera, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions, disclose sensitive information, or execute arbitrary commands and scripting code.
The first issue is caused by an error in the way the browser uses and launches external applications (e.g. newsgroup or e-mail clients), which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a malcious web page.
The second vulnerability is caused by an origin validation error when accesing frames from different Web sites, which could be exploited by malicious web sites to conduct cross domain scripting attacks.
The third issue is caused by an unspecified error within the Adobe Flash Player for Mac OS X systems. No further details have been disclosed.
