A vulnerability has been identified in MadWifi, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when processing a beacon frame with an overly large "length" value (more than 15) in the extended supported rates element ("xrates"), which could be exploited by attackers to panic a vulnerable driver and create a denial of service condition.
