A vulnerability has been identified in rPath Linux, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain sensitive information. This issue is caused by insecure permissions being set on the "/var/log/btmp" file by the initscripts package, which could be exploited by local attackers to potentially obtain certain users' passwords.
