A vulnerability has been identified in OpenBSD, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a stack overflow error in the "cons_options()" [usr.sbin/dhcpd/options.c] function when processing specially crafted DHCP requests, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system or potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
