A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS), which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by an error in the conversion utility that creates and uses administrative accounts with default credentials when converting a CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE), which could be exploited by attackers to gain full administrative acess to a vulnerable system or user-level access to the host Linux operating system after the conversion has been completed.
