Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Pegasus Imaging ImagXpress, which could be exploited by attackers to corrupt or delete arbitrary files and cause a denial of service. These issues are caused by errors in the "PegasusImaging.ActiveX.ThumbnailXpress1.dll" and "PegasusImaging.ActiveX.ImagXpress8.dll" ActiveX controls that do not restrict access to the "CacheFile()" and "SCompactFile()" methods, which could be exploited by attackers to corrupt or delete files on a vulnerable system by tricking a user into visiting a malicious web page.
