A vulnerability has been identified in Pidgin, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the nudge functionality within the MSN protocol when processing a message sent by a remote user who is not present in the buddy list, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected application, leading to a denial of service condition.
