A vulnerability has been identified in Apple QuickTime, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a design error when processing the "qtnext" parameter within QuickTime link (.qtl) files, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page or opening a malicious file.
