A vulnerability has been identified in NetBSD, which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by input validation errors in various display driver functions (e.g. "vga_allocattr") when handling a negative or large value, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a vulnerable function to access arbitrary memory locations and panic the system, creating a denial of service condition.
