A vulnerability has been identified in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by a packaging error in the Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment (AIDE) rpm that results in the file database not containing any file checksum information, which could prevent AIDE from detecting certain file modifications.
