Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MapServer, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code, cause a denial of service, or potentially compromise an affected system.
The first issue is caused by input validation errors in the template processing code when processing and displaying user-supplied data, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
The second vulnerability is caused by an unspecified buffer overflow error in the template processing code, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code.
